Mark
Fax received his B.M. from Syracuse University (1933), the M.M. from Eastman
School of Music, and attended New York University. He taught at Howard University
and served as Chairman of the music department. Fax wrote choral and symphonic
works, songs, piano and organ pieces, and operas. Among his compositions
are: A Christmas Miracle, Til Victory Is Won, Toccatina, Three Pieces For
Piano, and Only Dreams.
