Glendower

Glendower Jones,
music dealer/publisher and baritone, is a native of Louisiana and a graduate
of Southeastern Louisiana University and Southern Methodist University
(MSM, MM, 1977). Living in New York City since 1978, he has received critical
acclaim from the New York Times for his portrayals in Bach's Passions
and as soloist in FaurČ's Requiem with the Orchestra of St. Luke's and
the St. Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. Past seasons have included performances
with many organizations, most notably the Music Festivals of Aldeburgh,
Banff, Hong Kong, Jerusalem, Marlboro and Spoleto. He was employed by
the Joseph Patelson Music House in New York from 1985-1990, where he was
well-known to all members of the vocal arts community in New York City
as the authority on vocal music, repertoire and publication. Joseph Patelson
was his friend and mentor and inspired the formation of Classical Vocal
Repertoire.
